Hello! I’m Mykalle, a Product (UI/UX) designer with a penchant for boba, beaches, and books. I have a degree in political science with a minor in design and interaction. As a UX Designer, I hope to further explore the intersection between design and social justice with the goal of improving lives through human-centered design. I seek to turn tribulations into telescopes, collaboration into instruments of inspiration. I seek to innovate. I seek to iterate. I seek to educate. To be a voice for the constellations of impacted communities. I seek to elevate; for everyone deserves their place amongst the stars.
Design Philosophy
Nothing is perfect. Perfect is stalling, playing it safe. If something is perfect, there’s no room for imagination, no room for further growth. Don’t get tangled in the details. Just focus on getting something out there first.
Design for social good. As designers, we have the power to determine who gets to use our product. Foster transparency, inclusivity, and accountability so that no one gets left behind.
